Global Health EDCTP3 2024 Work Programme and Info day
Global Health European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership 3 (Global Health EDCTP3) recently published its 2024 Work Programme.
The Joint Undertaking works to deliver new solutions to reduce the burden of infectious diseases in sub-Saharan Africa and to strengthen research capacities to prepare and respond to re-emerging infectious diseases.
In 2024, €140 million will be disbursed through 7 different funding opportunties focusing on:
- Novel, innovative HIV therapeutics
- Research on existing malaria vaccines and new candidates
- Development of therapeutics and NPIs against Neglected Tropical Diseases
- Tackling AMR through R&D in antimicorbials
- New tools for vector control
- Digital health solutions
- Academia/industry fellowships

On Tuesday 6 February the European Commission organises an Info day where the different funding opportunities under the 2024 Work Programme will be presented and this will be followed by a Questions and Answers (Q&A) sessions with the audience.
