2 new calls | EP PerMed (the European Partnership for Personnalised Medicine)

EP PerMed introduces two exciting opportunities for start-ups, researchers, and early-stage teams working on cutting-edge solutions in personalised medicine. These programmes aim to accelerate the development, validation, and market readiness of transformative innovations that enhance patient care.

The deadline for call submission is on 13 March 2025:

• Fast Track Validation programme : funding opportunity for validation studies

• • Aim : address validation issues by facilitating 6-month validation studies in partnership with a validation center
  • Eligibility criteria : Applications can be submitted by either a start-up or a team/researcher affiliated with an academic or healthcare research organization registered in an EU Member State or a Horizon Europe-associated country
  • Grant : Max. 80,000€ per project (lump sum with 50% pre-payment and 50% after approval of the final activity report) and 70% allocated to validation services. 5 projects granted.
  • Expected outcome : Advancing granted projects by at least one TRL level

• Venture Creator programme : mentorship services for qualified teams or early-stage startups for business validation and commercialisation

• • Aim : accelerate the formation of business ventures in the field of Personalised Medicine
  • Eligibility criteria : Applicants must be citizens or residents of the EU Member States countries or Horizon Europe associated countries
  • Programme (3 modules) : “The Meeting Place” (10-12 teams, 1 online kick off meeting, online webinars), “The Deep Dive” (10-12 teams, 1 meet & greet event), “Business Model Validation” (6 teams, online mentoring, 1 final pitching event)
  • Expected outcome : Emerging new ventures with robust business models and improve participants’ skills in business validation and commercialisation
