Blind evaluation pilot in Horizon Europe – watch the recording of the webinar!
If you want to participate in any of the calls where a blind evaluation is being piloted (1st stage of almost all two-stage calls in Horizon Europe), check out the recording of the “Info Session for NCPs: Special webinar on blind evaluations in Horizon Europe”. You will find some useful tips on preparing a proposal for those calls.
The pilot will be launched in the Work Programme 2023-24. It targets the first stage of all two-stage calls in 2023 and 2024 (except justified cases, namely one call for Widening).
It means a NEW admissibility criterion: Applicants submitting a proposal under the blind evaluation pilot must not disclose their organisation names, acronyms, logos nor names of personnel in Part B of their first-stage application.
With this pilot, the European Commission aims to examine real, potential or perceived reputational bias in the evaluation process and consolidate its guidance accordingly.
