Pathways2Resilience: First Call for Regions and Communities

Pathways2Resilience is a flagship project under the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change as it aims to support at least 100 European regions and communities to co-design locally led resilience pathways.

The project has now launched its first call for applicants, where 40 regions and communities will be selected to receive a sub-grant of up to €210 000 to formulate local and regional resilience pathways. In addition to the sub-grants, selected regions and communities will be able to take part in the programme’s support services and capacity-building activities, ranging from a peer-led mentoring programme, seminars and workshops, to tailored support and advice on innovative finance mechanisms.

The call will close on 22 February 2024 at 17:00 CET.

The call is open to eligible European regions and communities located in the EU Member States and Horizon Europe Associated Countries. Local and regional public authorities are eligible to apply for the Pathways2Resilience funding.

Detailed information on the call for applicants can be found on the Pathways2Resilience website.

Online information sessions will be organised to present the call in detail and to allow potential applicants to ask questions about the call. The dates for the information sessions are:

  • 11 January 2024, 13:00-14:00 CET
  • 17 January 2024, 13:00-14:00 CET

For any questions on the call, please consult the website or contact the dedicated Helpdesk: pathways2resilience@climate-kic.org.
