Innovative Health Initiative launches new call for proposals

The Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) has now launched IHI – call 11.

These call is relevant to academics, SMEs, mid-sized companies, patient groups, regulators, and others working in health research, including drug development, health technologies, biotechnology, diagnostics and more.

IHI – call 11 is a two-stage call for proposals with the following topics:

• Topic 1: Towards precision medicine: platform for transdiagnostic stratification of brain dysfunction
• Topic 2: Understanding how infections foster and induce non-communicable diseases
• Topic 3: AI-powered signal detection in pharmacovigilance
• Topic 4: Leveraging Europe’s expertise to accelerate cell therapy for type 1 diabetes
• Topic 5: Establishing ortho and cardiology ambulatory surgical centres in Europe

Deadline for short proposals: 9 October 2025
