The European Cancer Imaging Initiative Joining forces for AI-powered imaging to save lives

It has been two years already since the launch of the European Cancer Imaging Initiative, one of the Flagship initiatives of the Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan.

To mark this occasion and in the context of the World Cancer Day, we are pleased to invite you to the high-level event “The European Cancer Imaging Initiative – Joining forces for AI-powered imaging to save lives”. The event is organised by the European Commission in collaboration with the European Society of Radiology and the EUCAIM project consortium implementing the Cancer Image Europe platform.

Where: Albert Borschette Conference Centre, Rue Froissart 36, Brussels and online

At this event, stakeholders from research, innovation, healthcare, and the public sector will discuss:

• the achievements of the first two years of the European Cancer Imaging Initiative and its future developments;
• the role and contribution that the European Cancer Imaging Initiative can bring to the implementation of the European Health Data Space;
• the role of Cancer Image Europe in the context of the European AI strategy;
• the role and contribution of the Cancer Image Europe platform to advancing the digital transformation of healthcare towards personalised cancer care.
