EDITORIAL 26.06.2015 “New NCP contact for H2020 Space at NCP Brussels”
Space applications have cross-sectorial impact on various relevant areas such as health, citizen safety, mobility, smart cities, sustainable resources management, regional growth, low-carbon energy infrastructure planning and protection, disaster management and climate action including natural catastrophes. The Galileo-EGNSS funding scheme aims to support the development of space enabled applications able to address these major societal challenges.
The cross-sectorial potential of space may thus interest SMEs, big companies, universities, research centres, municipalities and other relevant stakeholders.
Within the NCP Brussels team, I have recently been appointed as the new NCP for Horizon 2020 Space. My role will now be to support interested potential applicants in finding the right partners and submit their project proposals under a Horizon 2020 call.
Are you a Brussels-based organisation interested in support your space-related project idea through RDI European funding? Get in contact with NCP Brussels now and profit from our free-of-charge support services!
