Seal of Excellence and the new tool for partnership

What is a Seal of Excellence?

When you apply for the SMEs Instrument from the European Commission, if your application is great, gets good grades, but that unfortunately there is no more funds for your project, you’ll get a Seal of Excellence. This Seal of Excellence proves that your project is trustworthy and that the European Commission would have invest in it. It is a proof of quality. 

Access4SMEs is the network of the National Contact Points (NCP) for Small Medium-sized Enterprises and Access to Risk Finance (SMEs, ARF). The network is here to assist into transnational cooperation among the specific NCPs, giving them tools and knowledge allowing them to deliver the better support. 

Recently, Access4SMEs has launched a platform dedicated to Seal of Excellence holders in helping them to find partnerships and especially investors. The platform contains high-potential companies with projects proposals that received the Seal of Excellence. It is shaped as a community on EuroQuity.com. 

The platform offers online pitching sessions, thematic business webinars and events, finding business opportunities and boosting companies’ reputation and visibility. It is also an interface that gives the possibility to reach out to European business angels networks, venture capitalists, corporate investors and new European business partners.
