EU4Health Publication of Open Calls for Grants
The EU4Health Work Programme 2025 has been adopted and is available through the following link: 2025 EU4Health Work Programme – European Commission. The Work Programme supports the EU’s priorities in health policy, to protect citizens and boost innovation in Europe. Among the areas of focus are cardiovascular health, digital health, cancer, health technology assessment, crisis preparedness, medicines and medical devices and substances of human origin. The EU4Health programme provides funding through grants and public procurement to contribute to a healthier Europe.

EU4Health programme, kesako?
While the Horizon Europe programme focuses on research and innovation, the EU4Health programme focuses on implementation and scale-up. More specifically, the EU4Health programme put in place EU-level health strategies, legislation or actions plans into practice at the national or EU level, or strenghthen the abilities of national health systems, institutions or professionals to respond effectively to health challenges.
It targets public authorities and -institutions, academia, NGOs, associations, healthcare providers, private sector entities (to a smaller degree). The areas of actions are: crisis preparedness, health promotion & disease prevention, health systems & healthcare workforce, digital transformation and cross-cutting focus on cancer.
