EU Commission seeks contributions to enhance cybersecurity for hospitals and healthcare providers

Cybersecurity is becoming an increasingly critical challenge for the healthcare sector, which has reported more cyber incidents than any other critical infrastructure in recent years. This Action Plan aims to strengthen preparedness, improve threat detection and response, and ensure a safer digital environment for both patients and professionals—supporting, among other initiatives, the implementation of the European Health Data Space (EHDS).

Should any of you, or members of your extended networks, wish to contribute, your input will help shape future recommendations to enhance cybersecurity in the healthcare sector. The deadline for submitting contributions is 30 June 2025.
