Deep Tech Talent Training Prize to recognise Europe’s top trainers

The EIT has just announced the launch of the Deep Tech Talent Training Prize

The Deep Tech Talent Initiative, where the EIT’s Innovation Communities work together with a pledger community of industry partners and training providers to address Europe’s skills gap, launched in October 2022, is now in full swing. This programme is set to skill one million people in deep tech fields by 2025.

To reward and recognise the contributions of training providers, the EIT is now launching the Deep Tech Talent Training Prize. Each award recipient will be awarded a maximum funding of EUR 60 000.

How to apply?

Applicants must meet the pledger criteria and have successfully completed the pledge registration and quality check of the training.

There are two prize categories:

  • Partner Training – for consortia of at least two organisations that can demonstrate how their partnership, training and results show excellence in addressing a deep tech training challenge

  • Targeted Training – for individual training providers who can demonstrate excellence in a specific targeted approach to address challenges in deep tech training

These prize categories are further divided into pre-defined deep tech topic areas.

Read the full call text available on the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative website. Applicants must submit the required documents – including the application form, pitch deck, and a 1-2-minute video pitch – through the online submission platform by 31 October 2023.
