IHI calls 4&5 | Draft topics published

IHI has just published draft topic texts for calls 4 and 5

The Innovative Health initiative Joint Undertaking partnership intends to

  • help create an EU-wide health research and innovation ecosystem that facilitates translation of scientific knowledge into innovations
  • foster the development of safe, effective, people-centred and cost-effective innovations that respond to strategic unmet public health needs
  • drive cross-sectoral health innovation for a globally competitive European health industry

With a total budget of €2.4 billion, it covers the entire continuum of care, from prevention and diagnostics to treatment and disease management. IHI is the successor of the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI), the world’s largest public-private collaboration in life sciences. According to its funding model, at least 45% of each project’s budget has to come from industry partner / contributing partner contributions.

IHI plans to launch call 4 (two-stage) and call 5 (single-stage) in the coming weeks. They published the draft topics ahead of the call launch to give you extra time to prepare your proposal and build your consortium.

Get the list of all topics under consideration for inclusion in the next calls here.

Take pat in the IHI Call Days on 19-29 June to get information on the call topics, learn about the rules and procedures, and find the best partners for your consortium.
