Find your EU funding programme for the environment
As EU’s financial support for the environment is spread across different EU funding programmes and instruments, the European Commission published a guide to help you choose
This guide “Find your EU funding programme for the environment” provides a detailed description of the 2021–2027 programmes and instruments that could support projects which directly or indirectly contribute to the EU’s environmental policies and objectives. The aim of this guide is also to provide potential project promoters with knowledge and insights to facilitate applications for EU funding or financing for the environment. It is designed to be a practical reference for any project promoter, regardless of whether they represent a private company, an NGO, a national, regional or local authority, or any other type of stakeholder.
Have a look at this guide – published in English but also French, Dutch, German and Swedish – to identify the appropriate funding and technical assistance for your project, better understand the potential eligibility of your project and find further guidance.
NCP Brussels is the contact point for Brussels-based organisations interested in Horizon Europe, including Cluster 6 focusing on the environment (amongst other topics as agrifood and bioeconomy). Horizon Europe also tackles climate change and supports the environment in a cross-cutting manner. Though some clusters do not focus on the environment itself, they have the capacity to support environmental integration, in particular Cluster 4 – Digital, Industry & Space, and Cluster 5 – Energy & Mobility.
